Mitsubishi Aircon Error Codes
Error codes in your Mitsubishi air conditioner indicate specific issues within the system. Understanding them is crucial for prompt rectification to prevent further damage.
When an error occurs, the remote controller will display the corresponding error code, accompanied by blinking of the upper operation indicator lamp on the indoor unit.
Steps to check the error code:
1. Press any button to exit the error code display mode on the remote controller. (Note: the error code might not be visible if the operation indicator lamp is not blinking)
2. Ensure the handheld remote controller is powered off.
3. Stand within 2 metres in front of the indoor unit.
4. Point the remote controller towards the receiving section of the indoor unit.
5. Press and hold the small “CHECK” button using a fine-tipped object.
6. Continue pointing the remote controller at the indoor unit until you hear a beep and see the error code (2 digits) on the display.
7. Refer to the error code table to determine the specific problem.
